Escaped from the siege of bloodthirsty dogs
Imagine the heart-pounding terror of being pursued by bloodthirsty dogs. The fang-bared, relentless pursuit was hot on your heels. This horrifying scenario may sound like something out of a nightmare.
For some unfortunate individuals, it is a terrifying reality. Escaping from the siege of bloodthirsty dogs is a harrowing experience that leaves a lasting impact on both the body and the mind. Image below is showing the thirst of dog.
In the following lines, I shall bring forth the gripping tales of those who have encountered such perilous situations.
How they explored the courage and resilience required to overcome these life-threatening encounters.

As old as I am, since childhood, I have never liked dogs or puppies. One of the reasons I hate dogs is those girls look at them and not at us.
Believe me, I am not the least bit timid; even if I have to spend the whole night alone in the cemetery, I will spend it; but when it comes to dogs, my condition becomes the same as when a girl sees a cockroach or a chipmunk.
Giants and ghosts may be dangerous things, but dogs are dogs. One of the problems with this evil creature is that, whether it is barking, sitting, or sleeping, it is completely canine, which means that it is a simple thing that cannot be trusted in any way.
Mr Churchill, the former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, once said that kicking or throwing stones at every dog that barks in your path will get you nowhere.
I want to tell Uncle Churchill that I applied your golden formula, but this creature does not know the etiquette.
These understand the language of stone or stick. Then they give a little permission to pass through. Village dogs are also more dangerous.
I often go to the village, so I go in civilian clothes, i.e., pants and a shirt, and these village dogs are so hostile to urban clothes that if a thief steals the whole house of their owner, on the other hand.
If someone is wearing
a decent pant shirt, these "loyalists" will immediately forgive the
thief, and the person wearing the pant shirt will not be spared at any cost.
From the corner of the village where my house is, the bus drops off half a kilometre away. There is a shortcut to reach the village, but I usually don't use this route because of these sons of bitch.
On the eve of Eid, at 5:30 AM, the bus dropped me off. I was in the mood to give a surprise, so I mustered up the courage to take a shortcut.
I just crossed the first house when I saw, on the
left side, a bloodthirsty dog looking my way. I thought the dog was tied, so I
walked forward with pleasure.
The next step revealed the secret: the dog was not tied, as it had already reached the middle of the way by running.
Then I noticed that my upper breath remained somewhere above, and my lower breath went somewhere. I immediately turned down the reconciliation policy and turned back with reverse steps, ignoring the surprise, etc.
I saw, on the right side, a bitch coming towards me with several
puppies to welcome me.
She just asked me to recite all the surahs, verses, and words I remembered, but I only recited the "Kalma Shahadat" as there was no chance of survival.
Another pair of dogs approached from the front. Now the situation was such that I was surrounded by dogs on all sides, and the bitch children also started barking at me.
The way was dusty, and I failed to see any stones, so I decided to apologize, but to whom—from dogs. Shaking off this notion, I attempted to think of another route, but no matter where I went, saw the dogs in front.
A man forgets his own name but only remembers Allah, from whom we seek help in times of danger. It was early morning, and apart from me, no human being was visible there.
Looking back at the big dog, it seemed as if he was smiling, and the little ones were jumping before their mother. Until these man-eaters give me permission, I decided not to move.
I sat there in
the middle and started thinking about the aspects, acts, and reasons for which
dogs attack in retaliation.
A dog
may attack for several reasons.
- Terrified or
anxious.
- Feeling
someone is a strange
- Assuming a
person is a beggar
- Simply being
aggressive.
- Unaware of a
dog chained up nearby.
- Even if they
are not tied up,
- Yelling or
fleeing from the dog
- Making eye
contact with a loose dog
- Challenging
or attacking the dog
I believed that I had not committed any such act as of yet. So, they are
letting me take the initiative.
In such a tense scenario, I was unable to take
any initiative.
I tried to adopt the only formula, "wait and look."
I tried to recall all of the tips, tricks, methods, and strategies for dealing
with such a situation and determining whether the animal in front of you is
cool, gentle, ferocious, or attacking.
About dogs' behaviour
I remember reading that once in an article about dogs' behaviour.
You must observe that:
1.
His tail is not
wagging.
2.
His eyes are gazing at
you.
3.
His ears are tightly
drawn back.
4.
He is snarling and
showing teeth.
5.
Know that the dog is
aggressive and ready to attack you.
I carefully and closely observed all the dogs in fear. Whether or
not they exhibit symptoms of an attack
I failed to understand the delicacy of the matter due to fear. I got terrified
and started to think, "What ought I do?"
I thought about what would happen if someone saw me in this miserable
condition, but I also thought about what would happen if no one saw me.
Well, we all (the dogs and I) politely took positions and waited for a move.
But sitting still was the only time when I felt sorry for myself.
I remembered
that dialogue, "Basanti, don't dance in front of these dogs" (I used
to sing "don't run" instead of dancing).
Again, I emphasized my brain and remembered a video in which an expert dog
trainer was explaining some effective methods, procedures, plans of action, and
a set of tactics to get rid of wild, ferocious, dangerous, and untamed animals.
He told me a lot of plans, tips, and tricks, but I only remember following and
trying them one at a time.
Safety Precautions
- Hold motionless.
It's crucial to keep your composure.
- You could feel
afraid but calm on the outside.
- Avoid running
away since the dog pursues you.
- Don't keep your back towards the animal, and gently begin to back away. Never, ever turn away.
- Avoid looking into the eyes of the animal. As the dog will perceive it as a danger, this could make the issue worse.
- Close your lips
tightly. Don’t show your teeth for a single moment. The dog will see it
differently and perceive it as an aggressive gnashing of teeth.
- Use a soothing
tone of voice when talking. A negative response from the animal may result
from loud or intimidating speech.
- Don't hit the
dog; doing so will just make it angrier.
- Do not attempt
to flee or jerk away if the dog bites you. This can exacerbate the
attack.
- Put a jacket,
bicycle, or handbag between you and the animal or whatever is available at
that moment.
- The saying that
dogs and other animals can "feel fear" has some basis in
reality.
- Don’t show
excitement or shout.
- Establish
rigidity and immobility. Stand steady, like a tree.
- Don’t stare at
the dog. If you ignore the dog, he will frequently lose interest and
leave.
- Distract the dog
using a different item.
- Facing the dog,
turn to him and give a firm order to "back away."
- If you have
something edible. Throw it to the dog. This might divert him long enough
for you to flee.
- If the dog
refuses to back down and begins to attack, curl up into a ball on the
ground. Put your hands in fists and raise your arms above your head.
- Retaliate
against an aggressive dog. You must defend yourself.
- Guard your
throat, chest, and face.
- Exit the
location with caution.
I'm not sure which of my goodness aided me. That bitch remembered some
housework, and she went inside with her five or seven idiot puppies.
Other dogs stood at once and got ready to attack me. I had forgotten all of the lessons, tips, tricks, and precautions.
My courage reached the seventh sky on the retreat of bitch and puppies. Even though the dogs warned me not to get up now.
But I got up ignoring this warning and started running at full speed without turning right or left. If Usain Bolt (the greatest sprinter) had been with me, he would have finished second in the race.
However, I remember so much that I took a second breath when I reached home. I told the whole story to my family and friends.
They advised me to take part in the next Olympic games, but my parents did not allow me.
This is a story of how I "Escaped from the
siege of bloodthirsty dogs." Though dogs are loyal, faithful and loving
animals but don't take dogs easy and safeguard your skin.
The stories of individuals who have escaped from the siege of bloodthirsty dogs are testaments to the unconquerable human spirit. Their experiences are a stark reminder of the raw power and instinctual nature of animals, as well as the fragility of human life.
The survivors' courage, quick thinking, and physical prowess enabled them to overcome tremendous odds and emerge from these perilous encounters alive. Their stories serve as a reminder to us all to respect and coexist harmoniously with the animal kingdom, understanding the potential dangers that exist in the natural world.
May their harrowing experiences inspire us to cultivate empathy, promote responsible pet ownership, and advocate for measures that ensure the safety and well-being of both humans and animals.
Conclusion
Keeping in mind my personal experience, I strongly advise that people stay away from wild, fierce, ferocious, and dangerous dogs.
Despite how frustrating dog aggression might be, there are many things you can do to help.
Dog aggression is one of the troublesome behaviours that should be completely eradicated. Despite thousands of years of domestication, our canine friends occasionally exhibit habits that would be advantageous for them in the wild but may not be the best for living in human households.
Remember! As soon as the dog stops showing interest in you, carefully back away without making any unexpected movements.
In such a tense scenario, remaining calm and still can be a true test of your nerves, but it's the wisest course of action on your end.
My last running was a life-saving run to "Escaped from the siege of bloodthirsty dogs."
